>implying anyone actually cares whether or not you like or dislike a group of people with certain interests.
Fun fact, the actions of the minority do not represent the majority and should not be used to tarnish the name of said total.
Yes there are some bad eggs out there, but assuming that we can be represented with titles such as "Hate. Sexism. Homophobia. Transphobia. Racism. Ableism. Fatphobia." is totally ridiculous. While i have met some bronies who have questionable interests, I have yet to meet one who was any of those things.
Hate: that's a good one. While we may represent Friendship, we aren't push overs. We are still human beings and if you attack us we are more than likely to react and defend ourselves. just like any living being would
Sexism: the show has a 90%/10% female/male ratio. the show itself makes a point to paint out females not as the tea parties, make overs, and shopping obsessed stereotypes and instead as any other person just like women are. And we classify everyone, including women, as 'bronies' because we are all the same and we are all on equal footing. we dont need different names to separate us like feminazis that want women to be spelled womyn and while the term pegasister is still floating around out there, most people still classify them as bronies.
Homophobia: A large majority of fans who participate in 'shipping' will more than likely make a F/F(female and female) or M/M(male and male) relationship with characters. Straight 'shipping' is almost a rarity(ha). Hell, a fan Favorite couple who the fandom have managed to get noticed by the animators is Lyra and Bon Bon(two females, yes it was noticed by animators given that in an episode the each had bags the had the other's cutimark)
Transphobia: what? like, fear of transexuals? I wasnt even aware of any situation like this. I guess i would suggest kinda melding my sexism and homophobia parts for this?.
Racism: that's a good one. The term "brony" does not imply white, or asian, or black, or whatever color your skin may be. The show makes everyone a pastel colored equine of a variety of colors. Hell in the show the only form of racism would be the classifications of all the characters(Unicorn, Earth pony, Pegasi, Alicorn, Changling, Zebra, Griffon, Sheep, Bison, Cow) and even then it's not like anyone takes notice of anything. Everyone in the show generally lives together in harmony, regardless of what species they may be. Ok so I got a little off track but I would like to bring up the fact that pretty much all bronies are on the internet. Here we can't tell what color of skin you are unless you provide us with evidence. until then we don't really care, and even after that we still don't care.
Ableism: oh don't you start that shit up again. We had enough trouble with the Derpy incident. We love derpy, she will always be derpy. And the few fans that were upset were promptly chastised. Again I would like to point back the the whole internet thing from the racism section. We dont care what color skin you have, and I doubt we would care if you are disabled. as long as you are nice to us, we will be nice back. if you are rude, we will try to ignore you, but more than likely we will be rude back if you are persistent.
Fatphobia: what? Half of us are fat fucks. And again, like i've been saying for the last couple post. WE COULD CARE LESS. we don't see skin color on messages, we dont see disabilities on messages, WE DON'T SE BODY WEIGHT ON FUCKING MESSAGES.
what you said could have been an inteligent post. you gave radical assumptions with no evidence which would only leave us to believe that you perhaps had a difficult experience at one point. The internet is a large place. You cant expect us to watch every single person who has an interest. We can set up a general guide line for this fandom but we have no way to enforce it. And more importantly, What does it matter if someone has and opinion about us. Who cares? what are you, some prepubescent tween who cares about nothing more than their image? Grow up.
Seriously.
This is just my view on things.
Goodbye, Don't let the door hit you on the ass on your way out.
